Libraries PDF Print E-mail
The library sector is one of the areas in which RFID is fully adopted. The check-in and check-out process can be fully automated by RFID. In addition to this, the collection is secured based on EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) and an inventory of the collection is made  possible. The High Frequent (HF) RFID technique is most common, however, Ultra High Frequency (UHF) is implemented more often as it provides the possibility of a better inventory solution. Due to the increased reading speed, greater reading distance and lower price, UHF seems to be the technology of the future.

Introduction of self service based on the RFID technology results in better working conditions for library staff, cost reduction, greater customer privacy and an increase of  opening hours.

EastBridge RFID can offer a complete solution in self service equipment from self service systems, staff stations, security gates  to return and sorting systems. We have many years experience in developing and implementing self service solutions.
